Robert Cariola
Robert Cariola's art transmogrifies (if not a real word it ought to be) representational reality into abstract. Working primarily with chalk, pastels, and acrylics, Cariola likes to say that he converts "Fact into Fancy."

He also works with stained glass, mosaics, metal wall sculptures, and murals for churches, schools, and mausoleums. Cariola is listed in Who's Who in American Art and Who's Who in the East. He has works in the collections at the Albright Knox Museum, Fordham University, Hofstra University, Wooster College, Oyster Bay and Wantagh High Schools, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, several libraries on Long Island, and among many private collectors.

Robert is a graduate of the Pratt Institute Art School, the Pratt Graphics Art Center, and has participated at the Art Student League. He has received Tiffany grants and NY State Council of the Arts grants for murals in schools. He currently teaches an Art Workshop at the National Art League in Douglaston.
